About The Position

We are seeking a Safety Manager to lead and support a strong safety culture across operations. This role partners closely with leadership and frontline teams to ensure regulatory compliance, deliver effective training, and reduce risk. Responsibilities include conducting safety training, overseeing driver evaluations, maintaining compliance records, leading safety meetings, and investigating incidents. The ideal candidate has transportation safety experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to keeping employees and students safe. Help lead a strong safety culture and make a real impact. We’re looking for a Safety Manager to partner with leadership and frontline teams to promote safety, ensure compliance, and deliver strong safety outcomes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• CDL with endorsements, or ability to obtain
• 2–4 years of transportation safety experience preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations preferred

Responsibilities

• Promote and model a safe work environment
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company safety requirements
• Deliver classroom and behind-the-wheel training
• Maintain accurate training and compliance records
• Conduct driver evaluations and facility inspections
• Lead monthly safety meetings and investigations
• Support fleet, driver, and operational safety initiatives
