About The Position
Safety Coordinator Job Details Job Location: El Paso , TX 79912 Support Safety & Compliance Help implement and maintain EHS programs across active projects Conduct jobsite safety inspections and field observations Assist with identifying hazards and tracking corrective actions Support OSHA compliance efforts and safety documentation Maintain SDS, permits, JHAs, and other required safety records Incident Reporting & Continuous Improvement Assist with incident and near-miss reporting Support investigations and documentation Help track corrective actions through completion to prevent reoccurrence Training & Safety Engagement Assist with new-hire safety orientations Coordinate and track safety training and certifications Support toolbox talks and company-wide EHS initiatives Maintain training records in LMS or safety management systems Field & Team Collaboration Partner with Superintendents, Foremen, and Project Managers Provide on-site safety support for assigned projects Encourage proactive safety reporting and employee engagement Serve as a go-to safety resource in the field Reporting & Documentation Maintain safety logs and reports Assist with data entry in safety platforms (Smart Tag It, HCSS, Mindforge) Support audits and inspections
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of construction safety experience
- Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 30 (Construction)
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Experience with safety management software
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related field
