About The Position

We are looking for a Safety Coordinator in Lake Norden, SD. Provide training and coaching to ensure safety standards and awareness are well understood throughout the organization. Assist Safety Manager with compliance training to applicable employees on OSHA and DOT regulations. Assist Safety Manager to ensure facilities are compliant with all OSHA, all federal and state/local safety guidelines and requirements, and organization safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years within a similar manufacturing environment required.
• Knowledge of First Aid, Confined Space entry, LOTO, Process Safety Management, and experience in Classroom Instruction preferred.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and field-specific software.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment in a professional manner.
• Must be able to communicate fluently with colleagues in English.
• Must be able to stand and move around for long periods of time.
