About The Position

Eagle Systems, Inc. is seeking a Safety & Compliance Assistant to join our fast-paced and growing team. We are seeking an addition to our team who possess strong communication skills, is detail-oriented and enjoys a fast paced environment. The Safety & Compliance Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including assessing driver qualifications, auditing monthly maintenance files, auditing driver logs and ensuring the company stays current with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Must be detail-oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technology skills
• Strong skills in utilizing the Google suite of products including Gmail, Google Sheets, etc.
• Ability to work effectively with others on a team and work efficiently independently and with a sense of urgency
• Self-starter who finds opportunities for development and improvement
• Experience with Federal Motor Carrier Administration Regulations preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Working with remote locations to ensure new driver files are complete, accurate and meet all compliance regulations
• Assist with obtaining proper daily, weekly and monthly driver logs and maintenance records
• Daily phone and email communication with locations nationwide
• Data entry
• Various other team projects and duties as assigned
