About The Position

The Safety Associate works under the supervision of a licensed professional to provide constant observation of assigned patients and intervention if necessary to keep those patients safe. Safety Associates are responsible for the following: Transports patients to and from different areas according to patient schedules. Accompanies patients on outside medical appointments to ensure their safety. Reports observations of changes in patients’ condition/ behavior to professional staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma, or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support Certification required

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Behavioral Health Sciences interested preferred
