About the position
At Shelton Trucking, supporting our drivers is our main priority. We are looking for a Safety Assistant to be responsible for driver compliance under Hours of Service.
Responsibilities
- Monitor electronic logging devices for federal compliance
- Monitor daily Hours of Service audit
- Orientation presentation for Hours of Service
- Train new drivers on electronic devices that record Hours of Service
- Manage and track safety inventory installed into Commercial Vehicles
- Other Safety duties as assigned
Requirements
- Good oral and written communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
