In addition to physical responsibilities, the team member will document safety conditions by taking photographs of equipment and writing work orders for necessary modifications. The role requires proactive engagement in safety practices, including addressing unsafe behaviors or conditions observed in the workplace. Effective communication is essential, as the team member will lead safety meetings and collaborate with others to complete safety audits and job studies. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is crucial, as daily tasks will be assigned by a supervisor. The work environment can vary significantly in temperature, ranging from as low as -10 degrees to as high as 100 degrees, depending on the specific area of the plant.
