ATTIC Correctional Services is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that offers a wide variety of community corrections programs spanning over 50 community areas throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota, serving more than 10,000 clients each year. Our programs provide a cost-effective approach to criminal justice via simultaneously reducing recidivism rates and increasing the labor productivity our clients reinvest into their communities. Our community-based approach places a strong emphasis on restorative justice, with public safety remaining at the core of everything we do. The Safety and Security Specialist plays a vital role ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment at the Community Reentry Center (CRC) by overseeing facility security and front desk operations. This position is responsible for operating security equipment, monitoring facility activity, conducting routine safety checks, and responding to security concerns. Additionally, the Safety and Security Specialist answers and directs inquiries via phone and email, assists participants in the lobby, and maintains security documentation. By engaging with participants in a trauma-informed manner, this role fosters trust, order, and accessibility, ensuring the CRC remains a secure and supportive space for individuals transitioning back into the community.
