The position involves patrolling all areas of the property and assisting owners/guests with room access. Responsibilities include monitoring Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems. The role requires locking property entrances when necessary, conducting daily physical hazard inspections, and responding to accidents by contacting EMS or administering first aid/CPR as required. The individual will assist owners, guests, and associates during emergency situations, notify appropriate individuals in the event of incidents, and defuse disturbances. Completing incident reports to document all Loss Prevention related incidents is essential, as well as handling interruptions and complaints, resolving safety hazard situations, and escorting unwelcome persons from the property. The position also involves reporting to scenes of vehicle accidents or thefts, calling for assistance using proper code responses, and completing a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report. Confidentiality of all Loss Prevention and property reports/documents must be maintained, and the individual will conduct investigations and gather evidence, including interviews with relevant parties.
