The candidate for this position will be responsible for: Facilitate the bank’s security program to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations; identify, assess, and mitigate risks to employees, facilities, assets, information, and reputation, while promoting a customer friendly environment and leading by example.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field required (waived in lieu of experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership role in security required
  • Ability to work flexible and/or late hours required
  • Ability to access, input and process information with the computer for up to two hours intermittently required.
  • Frequent twisting, bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds) required

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the bank’s security program to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to employees, facilities, assets, information, and reputation, while promoting a customer friendly environment and leading by example
  • Conduct risk assessments to determine required protection levels and resources
  • Oversee maintenance and performance of access control systems, alarms, KABA locks, and facial recognition systems
  • Monitor all safety and security situations in accordance with established policies
  • Develop and deliver training to prevent, detect, and respond to incidents
  • Keep leadership informed of risks, response strategies, and emerging threats
  • Monitor global security trends and evaluate new security technologies
  • Implement and manage new safety and security technologies for projects and special events
  • Maintain vendor, law enforcement, and industry peer relationships
  • Ensure accurate system reporting and staff training
  • Communicate current policies, procedures, and emergency plans bank-wide
  • Remain available to respond to emergencies, work irregular hours, and perform other duties as assigned
