Contact the Safety and Risk Manager immediately for emergency situations. Monitor surveillance cameras. Patrol the property with specified equipment, checking all designated points and document all actions taken. Resolve safety hazard situations. Ensure all guest room doors are secured. Investigate suspicious persons on property. Conduct designated investigations into theft or lost items, noise complaints, assault complaints, and other guest and resident complaints, complete documented reports. Respond to the scene of guest or employee’s accident promptly; administer first aid/CPR; communicate specified information to E.M.S./medical personnel as required. Comply with state regulations and property guidelines for handling intoxicated guests and visitors. Document, organize and store all lost and found items given to Security, document guest inquiries for lost items and coordinate return of lost items to guest. Maintain confidentiality of all Security and resort reports/documents, release information only to authorized individuals. Answer the departmental telephone. Communicate by radio with designated property personnel. Prepare work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to Engineering through the innspector app. Legibly complete designated reports. Complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving. Review property status and any follow-up actions with on-coming Safety and Risk Associate. Ability to work a varied schedule that may include early morning, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Knowing the complete hotel facilities and layout including emergency procedures. Spend majority of shift on foot patrol, walking, climbing stairs of the interior and perimeter of the hotel to observe and identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions. Requires verbal communication using two-way radio, bending, stooping and kneeling as in performing CPR. Patrol interior hallways and public areas ensuring safety of guests and property. Prepare routine logs of status of patrolled areas. Prepare security incident report and notify appropriate managers when an incident occurs. Respond to guest questions regarding the hotel. Know the lay out of the hotel including all outlets' location and hours of operation. Report and/or follow-up on any complaints, problems a guest may experience in a timely and professional fashion to ensure a quality guest experience. Attend emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel's guests, team and company assets. Memorize and monitor life safety system installed at property including layout of entire building, alarm pull stations, location of fire extinguisher and sprinklers. Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Maintain good working relationships and open lines of communication with all other departments. Participate in hotel committees and other assignments
