The Safety and Quality Program Manager will play a crucial role in the Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) team, specifically within the Datacenter Engineering (DCE) team. This position focuses on enhancing the safety and quality assurance processes for datacenter construction and operations, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and meet high standards. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, managing project schedules, and developing internal processes to support the DCE Rhythm of Business team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about process efficiency and innovation, contributing to the overall success of Microsoft's cloud infrastructure.

  • Assists in tracking, coordinating, and communicating end-to-end project schedules for a single feature.
  • Helps monitor processes and holds stakeholders accountable for following established schedules and processes.
  • Learns to track and manage dependencies to enable cohesive user scenarios.
  • Works with a feature crew to orchestrate and integrate efforts for document control strategies and cross-functional projects.
  • Begins to understand collaboration across teams to ensure alignment on product management and release.
  • Learns success criteria and performance metrics for document control strategies or features.
  • Assists in identifying opportunities and gaps in strategy implementation, comparing quality and performance metrics.
  • Manages the staging and implementation plan for piloting/release.
  • Executes and runs the service and business process to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborates across stakeholders to monitor progress and communicate status.
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • 1+ year(s) experience working in the datacenter industry.
  • Relocation support provided.
  • Hybrid or remote work eligibility (up to 50%).
