Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years working in a safety/security role.
  • Experience cleaning in a business environment.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing and experience with local and highway driving.
  • Good oral communication skills.
  • Ability to create a warm, caring, non-threatening atmosphere.
  • Willingness to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Possesses an understanding of professional ethics and issues of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Driver’s license and record in good standing.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergent or escalating situations, as a part of a team, to promote de-escalation, safety, and indicated follow-up.
  • Proactively respond to situations, with a goal of preventing an emergent or escalating situation.
  • Promote the safety and well-being of our staff and consumers by supporting entry and exit from the building, waiting area space, and outside grounds/parking lot, through following agency procedures.
  • Daily review of the building and grounds for any upkeep, repairs or hazards, communication, and support of the resolution of repairs and hazards.
  • Submission of work orders for repairs or other appropriate maintenance in response to anything identified from #4 above.
  • Support Facilities Support Specialist with facility needs as requested.
  • Complete formal quarterly facility safety checklist.
  • Assist with quarterly/annual fire and emergency drills for facility.
  • Assist with Front Desk coverage as needed.
  • Cleaning of the building and grounds as needed to support high client volume or as needed to support other facility support staff being out.
  • Receive packages that come into the facility and deliver to staff within building.
  • Assist with vehicle maintenance and upkeep, taking vehicles for maintenance, DMV, or to support program needs.
