About The Position

The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Configuration Management/Data Quality & Distribution organization has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) Mid-Level or Senior Safety & Airworthiness Support to join our team in Everett, WA. Primary responsibilities: Analyzes data gathered from identified sources, identifies discrepancies and works with responsible organizations to resolve. Manages the change process. Integrates and coordinates design and configuration data required for certifications and/or flight clearance notices. Collects, organizes, synthesizes and analyzes data to support and guide business decisions. Summarizes findings. Performs configuration verification audits. Supports generation of product configuration data required for certifications and flight clearance notices. Supports the development of certification plans and deliverables for approval by regulatory representatives Collaborates with cert specialist across multiple functions to support cert activity. Supports the daily development of data packages, metrics, and deliverables in support of certify and delivering commercial aircraft. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Level 3: 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 4: 6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong cross‑functional integration experience (working with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, or customer support).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience engaging with senior/executive leadership and conveying information clearly.
  • Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams in large organizations.
  • Proven ability to support projects and drive plans to closure.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with regulatory compliance in aerospace or related industries.
  • Familiarity with 14 CFR Part 25 requirements and experience interacting with regulators.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and drive plans to closure.
  • Desired tool familiarity: DCCS, ETAC, etc.
  • Knowledge of baseline major/minor model and options documentation (e.g., configuration specification, customer detailed specifications, standard selections document).
  • Knowledge of drawing/data systems (e.g., "used on" drawings, part relationships, product data management) and configuration management principles and processes (e.g., part number control, revision level, naming conventions, product identification numbering systems).
  • Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics).
  • Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).
