About The Position

The Safety Administrative Assistant at JM TEST SYSTEMS LLC is responsible for supporting the Safety Department in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role involves managing safety records, assisting with health and safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous administrative and clerical experience
  • OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification or related safety certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Assist Safety Managers with health and safety initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
  • Monitor, collect, and dispose of hazardous materials.
  • Procure safety equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinate employee drug and alcohol testing.
  • Assist with customer requirements and inquiries.
  • Support employee training and credentialing.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to industry standards (ISO 17025, OSHA, DOT).
