SAF Sr. Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Serve as a customer technical contact. Interpret standards and apply the requirements to products under investigation. Create and implement test procedures. Conduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures, record results. Ensure that test equipment is calibrated or tested and operates properly. Interface with and update the Lab Manager(s), Team Leader(s) and Project Coordinator(s). Assist as necessary with training of junior technicians and engineers. Review files and reports prepared by project engineers. Monitors multiple projects underway. Prepare certification reports and related documents. Assists department management with quoting. Keeps current with industry technical developments and disseminates to the team, as necessary. Assist with conducting and monitoring training of testing personnel as necessary particularly in relevant field of expertise. Perform technical review of relevant reports and project files prepared by other engineers. Support management with Sales and Marketing activities.
