About The Position

The SAF-IS Regional Program Specialist position at the American Red Cross involves supporting military personnel and their families through the delivery of various programs and services. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field; or relevant equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of related experience required.
• Current, valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Strong computer skills and effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in individual or team environments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with American Red Cross programs and services is strongly desired.
• Familiarity with military culture, regulations, and protocol is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency communications services between military personnel and their families.
• Develop, implement, and support morale and welfare programs on installations.
• Represent the American Red Cross and promote programs and services on military installations.
• Assist in the supervision of volunteer staff and manage human resource functions related to volunteers.
• Maintain deployment readiness and complete required training for deployment.
