About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the supervision of Security Management Team. Ensures implementation, communication and execution of operational plans and Company initiatives. Assists Security Manager and above in maintaining highest possible security standards. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises exempt and nonexempt staff including coordinating and overseeing Company and Departmental missions, initiatives, and oversight of Guest and Team Member screening. Assists in analyzing trends, development, communication and execution of security plans. Creates and manage labor and non-labor line schedule and budgets for uniformed security area. Oversees departmental hiring and training initiatives. Assist in the evaluation and development of department policies and procedures. Assist with acting as a liaison between law enforcement, fire and medical agencies. Also, assist in acting as a liaison between contract security and third party tenants. Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned. SCOPE: Supports Security Management and hourly staff in proactively and reactively protecting individuals and company property.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED is required.
  • 3-5 years in uniformed security or investigative industry with 1-3 years supervisory experience required – theme park or event security industry preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
