About The Position

ATS is transforming the construction engineering and design processes by creating tools that address the significant challenges faced by commercial building product manufacturers, particularly in driving demand for their products at the specification stage. The company is also a leader in utilizing AI to simplify and expedite the quotation process, enabling manufacturers to increase sales and helping distributors and wholesalers secure more projects. As an Account Executive, your primary focus will be on subscription revenue generation by establishing new relationships and building rapport with manufacturers, wholesalers, and manufacturer representatives. You will need to learn the ATS value proposition thoroughly and engage in meaningful dialogues with prospects to identify their challenges and how ATS can provide solutions. Keeping detailed notes and developing account plans will be essential to ensure adherence to established playbooks. You will also identify internal champions within client organizations to help escalate the ATS message and achieve annual quota targets. Your responsibilities will include developing effective sales strategies and specific account plans to penetrate new accounts and foster relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the organization. You will collaborate with the marketing team to devise a territory strategy that maximizes coverage. Understanding your clients' technology landscape, strategic growth plans, and competitive positioning will be crucial. You will utilize customer success studies and ROI data to support the decision-making process of your clients, encouraging them to become references for ATS. Additionally, you will maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline management, ensuring that your sales opportunities are current and progressing. This role requires a hunter mentality and a high-velocity work ethic, focusing on prospecting, pitching, and closing software solutions tailored for construction industry professionals. You will be expected to maintain accurate customer and pipeline information in the CRM system and effectively position ATS solutions against competitors.
