Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? What You Will Do: Conduct chemical analysis on powder and solid materials to ensure material meets customer requirements. Prepare samples and perform analysis on a wide variety of materials where methods and techniques have been established Perform instrument set up and calibration Organize, report and maintain records of analysis Enter test results into various databases Perform continuous improvement initiatives Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment Demonstrates ability to escalate questions/concerns for issues that are not routine or clearly defined Demonstrated ability to execute to work instructions on completion of routine tasks The position will work a schedule of Monday - Thursday (4x10) 2:00pm - 12:00am (7th shift).

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Must have a strong attendance record
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to work hours outside of the regular shift
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to wear a respirator
  • The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
