University programming offers social benefits for our students, including: improved self-confidence, improved social relations, wide forum to allow students to socially interact, and increased commitment to peers. At its best, university programs are more than simply 'things to do.' They provide opportunities for students to learn about themselves, others, and our world. Student Affairs hires programming assistants, who are expected to provide a safe, enjoyable, developmental environment for student participants at all times. University programming is meant to offer a wide variety of programs, activities, and events to support campus life and student development.
