About The Position

The Supply Chain Manager, reporting to the Supply Chain Director Commercial LA, leads S&OP and S&OE processes across Latin America, focusing on demand planning to optimize inventory and meet business goals. This role acts as a key link between supply chain and commercial teams, supporting strategic planning, capacity forecasting, and financial targets like EBIT and working capital.

Requirements

  • Engineering, Operations/Supply Chain Management, Administration or Statistical Degree Required.
  • Minimum of 8 years professional experience in Supply Chain area.
  • Fluent in English and (Spanish or Portuguese) required.
  • Experience on Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Customer Service.
  • Proved experiences in multinational environment.
  • Advanced Excel is mandatory (macro, functions and VBA program).
  • Cognos, Hyperion, Tableau, SAP (APO/DP/MRP) experience (desired).

Nice To Haves

  • APICS Certification (CPIM or CSCP) Preferred.
  • Knowledge in tire or other similar market (desired).

Responsibilities

  • Develop key relationships with Regional Commercial Product Business unit representatives, Regional Supply Chain organization and Country representatives.
  • Manage the S&OP process - drive the cycle activities, consolidation of country data, review/monitor/reporting of performance against designated supply chain KPI's in sales planning, customer service, inventory management.
  • Ensure integration between sales, marketing and finance during generation and execution of operational plans.
  • Owner of Commercial S&OP decks and any other related document.
  • Manage the S&OE process - drive the weekly activities, analyze and report ongoing performance against plan, setup and follow-up on required action items.
  • Responsible for validation of requirements and confirmation signals. Ensuring accurate information flow between Go to Market organizations and supply sources.
  • Supply Chain representative on new product launch process (Stage and Gate process) for Commercial Product business unit.
  • Use and maintain the Demand Planning software (APO/DP) as the primary forecasting system tool. Assure that LA product master data is updated. Business process expert for APO DP.
  • Interact with production planning to understand gaps and opportunities in product availability.
  • Develop sourcing strategies/plan to minimize total delivery cost.
  • Implementation of SAP MRP Planning process in LA. Business Process Owner for MRP.
  • Provide recommendations for planning process improvement and performance improvement in LA countries. Share best practices between LA countries about using system, planning process or projects between LA Countries.
  • Deliver targeted levels of service to end customers in markets to support PBU operation.
  • Support inventory strategy, target analysis (8 losses methodology) and Inventory Quality (IQR). Ensure LA inventory levels optimization to minimize net working capital.
  • Support Regional sales growth plans by driving supply scenario planning on a production constrained environment.
  • Support/enhance long term capacity planning and budget process.
