The exceptional EY experience. It's yours to build. As a Manager in Strategy and Transactions - EY Parthenon, you will advise clients across the transaction lifecycle focusing on corporate strategy. You will help clients in developing actionable growth strategies, such as corporate strategy, investment strategy, transaction evaluation, and/or value creation. Your role will involve developing business strategies by analyzing market trends or conditions, industry trends, financial data, and utilizing customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization. You will review transaction rationale and/or deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks relating to a proposed transaction. Additionally, you will assist in defining the objective and scope of strategy engagements and client deliverables in consultation with the Vice President and Managing Director. You will manage work streams and projects from initial data collection and analysis to creating final client deliverables, and manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds in performing quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to develop strategies and solutions for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Education, Public Policy, a Life Science field, a Health Care field, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience performing quantitative or qualitative analysis.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in the same fields plus 2 years of work experience performing quantitative or qualitative analysis.
  • 2 years of experience consulting to provide clients with strategic solutions.
  • 2 years of consulting experience including managing business strategy and M&A strategic diligence projects.
  • 2 years of experience making detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers.
  • 1 year of experience in project management and supervising engagement teams.
  • 2 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis including performing primary research, drafting survey instruments, conducting macro-economic forecasts, building financial models, and presenting analysis to senior clients.
