This role is for a Sales Leader who will manage and develop a team of Account Executives. The individual will participate in and lead client and prospect meetings, collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners and corporate resources, and be responsible for ongoing mentoring, development, recruiting, hiring, and training of the sales team on sales processes. The role also involves reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management. As a Regional Vice President, the individual will be responsible for setting and implementing the Salesforce mutual Go-to-market sales strategy for the Customer 360 product family, leading, building, and growing a sales organization for this product family within the Federal Civilian segment, with a specific focus on the Department of Justice and US Courts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in Sales Leadership
  • 10+ years in software and/or applications sales; ideally an IT centric solution/application software, selling primarily to the CxO level
  • Recent experience with the Enterprise customer segment
  • Experience selling to customers in the Public Sector, ideally Federal Civilian vertical
  • Strong track record of success in leading complex top account teams within a high-growth, matrixed environment
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
  • Strong track record of recruiting, developing, coaching and retaining a high performing sales organization
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills to drive collaboration across multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of Account Executives.
  • Participate and lead in client and prospect meetings.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal partners and corporate resources as required.
  • Be responsible for ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team, including recruiting, hiring, and training new team members on sales process.
  • Report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management.
  • Set and implement the Salesforce mutual Go-to-market sales strategy for the Customer 360 product family.
  • Lead, build, and grow a sales organization for the Customer 360 product family in the Federal Civilian segment with a focus on the Department of Justice and US Courts.
  • Provide support and mentorship to direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required.
  • Coach direct reports on strategies to drive sales wins.
  • Consistently monitor the sales activity of the team and track results.
  • Actively lead and monitor demand generation activities.
  • Lead initiatives to drive customer awareness and engagement.
  • Develop and implement successful sales campaigns.
  • Engage at C-level in enterprise customer organizations.
  • Successfully lead significant client concerns and issues.
  • Develop required Corporate relationships and Executive engagement to support success.
