About The Position

The Cornerstone RVP, Renewals is responsible for managing a high-performing, mid-sized team of Renewals Representatives and two managers across customer segments, driving customer retention, and increasing Gross Renewal Rate (GRR) and Net Revenue Retention (NRR). In addition to overseeing core renewals activities, this leader will also manage a digital-focused team responsible for both inbound and outbound motion—engaging install-base customers as well as prospecting into net-new digital accounts to uncover expansion or new business opportunities. This role blends people leadership, operational excellence, and strategic execution to ensure the team exceeds revenue targets while delivering a world-class customer experience. The RVP, Renewals acts as a coach, mentor, and strategist—empowering their team to take ownership of outcomes, identify growth opportunities, and maximize customer value. Partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations, this leader will shape segment strategy, oversee flawless execution, and champion the development of the team. Key competencies include leadership, strategic thinking, operational rigor, communication, and the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in renewals, account management, customer success, or related revenue roles, including at least 2 years leading a team.
  • A proven track record of managing high-performing teams that exceed GRR and NRR goals.
  • Experience driving inbound and outbound sales motions—ideally within an digital or high-volume environment.
  • Strong operational skills with experience implementing processes, driving accountability, and managing performance.
  • Excellent coaching and development abilities to empower and grow team members.
  • The ability to think strategically about customer portfolios and segments while translating strategy into actionable execution.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills to clearly articulate strategy, expectations, and change.
  • Comfort operating in a metrics-driven, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading Renewals, Customer Success, or high-volume Sales/SDR teams in a SaaS or subscription-based business.
  • Knowledge of enterprise and digital segments and the nuances of each motion.
  • Background in revenue operations, forecasting, or pipeline management across renewals and outbound prospecting.
  • Ability to analyze customer and pipeline data to spot trends, risks, and expansion opportunities.
  • Experience executing change management or process improvements in a high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Renewals Representatives and managers across customer segments to exceed GRR and NRR targets.
  • Manage and scale a digital-focused team responsible for inbound and outbound prospecting within the install base as well as outreach to net-new prospects in the Digital segment.
  • Strategize, communicate, and uphold clear goals, reinforcing accountability and empowering reps to identify incremental growth opportunities on top of GRR.
  • Provide input into segment-level strategy (including digital) and translate it into actionable operating plans for the team.
  • Enforce and track execution of account plans, call planning, pipeline and opportunity qualification, ensuring rigor across both renewals and digital outreach workflows.
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency, consistency, and revenue outcomes across all segments.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure strong alignment, communicate strategy, and optimize both the renewal process and digital outreach motion.
