Campers Inn RV is looking for an RV Technician! This role ranges in duties from demonstrating the use and function of RVs, diagnosing problems, inspecting, adjusting, repairing recreational vehicles. Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required
• License & Certifications: Valid driver s license and good driving record is required
• Experience: A minimum of one year of RV service experience preferred
• Abilities: Knowledge of OSHA and other related state and federal regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety manuals
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Ability to wear protective clothing and use protective equipment as needed or required as per OSHA regulations
• Ability to move RVs of various sizes as needed
• Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• RVIA certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition
• Perform routine maintenance
• Test drive RV s to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly
• Demonstrate repairs made, uses, function of features and how to perform basic maintenance of the RV to customers
• Inspect, test and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, charts and pressure gauges
• Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications
• May have to enter and exit small confined spaces
