About The Position
A well -established RV service facility in Elkhart is seeking a skilled RV Service Technician to join their team. This is a hands -on role in a busy, high -volume shop environment working on a wide variety of motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined problem -solvers with experience in diagnostics, structural repairs, and general service work. If you're confident in your ability to work independently, adapt to new repair situations, and deliver quality work — this could be a great long -term fit.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RV Technician or similar trade (marine, mobile tech, auto repair, etc.)
- Working knowledge of 12V/110V electrical systems, LP gas, water systems, and HVAC
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance across RV systems
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Certifications (RVTI, RVDA) are preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, slide -outs, and appliances
- Perform roof and sealant repairs, fabrication, and interior/exterior reconstruction as needed
- Read and interpret work orders; document repairs and parts used
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following company procedures and safety standards
