About The Position

Prior to our Dallas station opening the selected Station Manager will participate in Station Life training at one of our current locations (San Francisco, Los Angeles or Las Vegas). Candidates will need to be able to travel and support current stations for on the job training until our Dallas location fully opens (anticipated opening date is April 1st) NEW LOCATION!!   • High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in business administration or similar is desired.
  • At least 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in areas such as car rental, tourism, hospitality or similar.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of OSHA, Microsoft Office and wage & hour labor laws.
  • Experience in leading and building high performance teams.
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
  • Resilient problem-solving abilities and highly organized.
  • Availability to work onsite with open availability including weekends.
  • Must be able to complete OSHA certifications within 90 days of hire.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English to interact effectively with a global customer base.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • This position requires the ability to drive our company vehicles, due to insurance requirements, candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Candidates must present and maintain a clear motor vehicle record and successfully pass a background check.
  • Valid in state drivers license.
  • Open availability to work weekends and holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Your roadsurfer Station - Location Management: You will autonomously lead and establish the operations of the station, collaborating closely with headquarters to manage day-to-day activities on-site.
  • Process Optimization: You will effectively implement existing standards and processes while contributing your own ideas (coordinating vehicle returns, handovers, and preparation).
  • Collaboration with roadsurfer Stations: You will maintain constant communication with all international teams to ensure ongoing optimization.
  • Team Leadership: As a Team Leader, you will motivate and guide your team on-site. This includes onboarding, effective task planning, and quality control.
  • Recruiting: You will be responsible for building your team and sourcing suitable talents for your station.
  • Fleet Management: You will consistently oversee the local vehicle fleet for rental and sales: documentation, maintenance, cleanliness, and coordination with local service partners.
  • Customer Service: You advise customers on our campers and provide a friendly check in & check out process. And send them out as happy roadsurfers to surf the roads of the USA.
