Position Overview: The RV Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining recreational vehicles to ensure safe, reliable, and optimal performance. This role involves working with a variety of systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is driven to be the best, takes direction as needed, and brings a positive, friendly attitude along with a customer-first mentality. Broad knowledge of RV technologies is a plus but not required. We are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated, and hardworking individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and can collaborate effectively with team members. Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities are also essential to succeed in this role.
Requirements
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of Service Technician or total home repair experience a plus but not required
- General Maintenance experience in Residential or Commercial property preferred
- Broad knowledge of RV technologies is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Complete repair orders efficiently while following dealership policies and safety standards
- Diagnose and test RV systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Repair and maintain RV coach and chassis systems to manufacture specifications
- Communicate findings and repairs needed clearly with the Service Advisors
- Provide accurate labor and time estimates for additional repairs
- Preform warranty repairs in full compliance with manufacture requirements
