About The Position

The RV Sales Consultant plays a key role in helping customers discover the right recreational vehicle to match their travel goals, lifestyle, and budget. This position combines product expertise, relationship-building, and consultative selling to create an exceptional buying experience. The ideal candidate is motivated, personable, and comfortable guiding customers through a significant purchase with confidence and care.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience preferred (automotive, RV, marine, or similar industries a plus)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn technical product details and explain them clearly
  • Self-motivated with a positive, customer-first mindset
  • Comfortable working weekends and peak seasonal hours
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers on the lot, in the showroom, and through digital channels to understand their needs and preferences
  • Conduct detailed walk-throughs of RV models, highlighting features, benefits, and differences between units
  • Build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships through follow-ups, communication, and exceptional service
  • Guide customers through the full sales process, including trade-ins, financing options, and closing paperwork
  • Stay current on RV trends, product updates, and competitive offerings
  • Collaborate with sales managers, finance teams, and service departments to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales environment
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics
  • Participate in training sessions, dealership events, and promotional activities
