About The Position

The RV Buyer and Consignment Sales position is crucial for driving the growth and profitability of our retail operations in the recreational vehicle industry. This role involves sourcing high-quality RVs for resale and managing consignment agreements to maximize inventory turnover. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with both buyers and sellers, ensuring a seamless transaction process. Additionally, this position requires a keen understanding of market trends and customer preferences to effectively price and promote RVs. Ultimately, the goal is to enhance customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the retail or automotive industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.

  • Experience in the RV industry or a strong personal interest in recreational vehicles.
  • Familiarity with consignment sales processes and inventory management.
  • Sales training in customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential RV purchases and consignment opportunities to expand inventory.
  • Negotiate purchase prices and consignment terms with sellers to ensure favorable agreements.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about pricing trends and customer demands.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, providing exceptional service throughout the buying and selling process.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
