About The Position

Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. Founded in 2004, the company's motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere! We might have a job for you as a Russian teacher. Some details about the course: One of our clients in San Diego would like to have one-to-one Specific Purposes Hybrid Russian classes. This student wishes to have hybrid classes. He would like to have a 102-hour course. Classes should be held twice per week, and he wishes to start asap.

Requirements

• Be a native Russian speaker or hold a teaching degree.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Have a valid working visa.
• Live within 20 miles of the client's location.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching technical vocabulary in mathematics, statistics, and biology.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the student's availability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-to-one Specific Purposes Hybrid Russian classes.
• Prepare lesson plans tailored to the student's needs and goals.
• Provide in-person lessons once per week and online lessons twice per week.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the student's current language level and motivation.
• Communicate with the student regarding scheduling and availability.
