Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Previous Concordia Language Villages or summer camp experience.
• Teaching licensure.
• Experience as a teacher in the target language.

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach, and assess language classes in Russian.
• Maintain accurate grade records and complete progress reports.
• Communicate with the Credit Facilitator regarding student progress.
• Live in a cabin with children and provide supervision as part of a counseling team.
• Assist with light cleaning of the Village site to ensure hygiene and safety.
• Lead games and activities to foster a cabin community.
• Supervise and interact with students during meals.
• Assist with cultural presentations and activity periods.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the dean and leadership staff.
