Lexington Country Club is looking for food runners to assist in providing food and beverage service to members and their guests in a manner that ensures a positive experience. To thrive in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: · Related experience or training · Good oral communication skills. · Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules · Ability to interact well with members. · Ability to lift and carry food and dish trays and stand for long hours. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. · A positive and professional attitude. Responsibilities
- Assist servers in their tasks.
- Carry dirty dishes to kitchen from dining rooms and wait stations.
- Bus and reset tables.
- Serve bread and water when members are seated.
- Replenish silverware and clean linen in the dining room.
- Stock and replenish the wait stations.
- Keep ice bins filled.
- Responsible for setting up buffets for weekly and special events.
- Set dining rooms for ala carte dining, banquets and special events.
- Clean the bread station daily.
