Runner - Starbucks - Mandalay Place
About The Position
As a Runner for Starbucks at Mandalay Place, you will support a fast-paced, guest-focused café environment by delivering food and beverages with speed, accuracy, and a friendly attitude. In addition to providing courteous and prompt service, you will help manage store pars, support inventory control, and communicate closely with Lead Fountain Workers to ensure the café remains well-stocked and operating smoothly. You will confidently describe menu items and answer guest questions, helping enhance the overall Starbucks experience while contributing to efficient operations and memorable guest interactions.
Requirements
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 6+ Years of prior relevant experience high volume dining restaurant as a food runner preferred
- Previous experience maintaining/organizing store inventory/pars in Starbucks or a similar restaurant environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome
- Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes
- Perform assigned open and closing side-work
- Communicate needs of the guest to management, inform management of guest reaction and comments and assist management to ensure smooth operation and quality service
- Check dining area, tables and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area
