The Busser/Runner is responsible for clearing and resetting tables as well as serving food orders as specified by guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Presents self in courteous and professional manner to guests at all times. Checks orders for accuracy prior to serving to ensure food items are as guests ordered (sides, extras, etc.). Delivers food orders with appropriate garnishments. Delivers food orders timely and, where multiple guests involved, at the same time. Communicates important information to guests (example: hot plate) and servers (example: guest seeking drink from bar). Responds to guests requests for condiments or other items. Continually clears away dishes and debris from stations. Has knowledge of table numbers and physical layout of restaurant in order to ensure prompt and proper service to guests. Brings guests inquiries regarding food allergies to Managers attention immediately. Ensure station is suitable for serving and meets company standards.
