ECHO Incorporated is seeking a skilled RTS & Material Handler Operator (Forklift) to operate the Return-to-Stock (RTS) workstation and ensure accurate processing, inspection, labeling, and disposition of returned or excess materials. This role also includes limited forklift operation to transport materials between production lines, RTS areas, and designated warehouse or molding locations. Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 35–50 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull as needed in a production environment.
  • Ability to use hands for sorting, inspecting, and handling small components.
  • Visual acuity to identify defects or discrepancies in parts and labels.
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process all Return-to-Stock (RTS) materials from production lines and workstations.
  • Inspect components for quality, damage, defects, or contamination in accordance with established criteria.
  • Determine proper disposition (return to stock, scrap, rework, or quarantine) following SOPs and quality guidelines.
  • Accurately record RTS transactions in the inventory/ERP system, including quantities, part numbers, and reason codes.
  • Count parts using scales, verify quantities, and adjust inventory systematically.
  • Print and apply labels to ensure accurate identification and traceability.
  • Support sorting of YBK parts using a workstation adjacent to the RTS area, as needed.
  • Operate a forklift approximately 15% of the time to transport RTS materials from production lines when coverage is needed.
  • Move and transport resin from the Dock Station to the Molding area when required due to operational or manpower needs.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Inventory Control, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely movement of materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe RTS and material handling area in alignment with 5S standards and audit-readiness expectations.
  • Follow all safety policies, forklift certification requirements, and PPE guidelines at all times.
  • Escalate discrepancies, inventory issues, or safety concerns to the Supervisor promptly.
