About The Position

At Landmark Snacks, the packaging team members work in our Ready-To-Eat (RTE) area. In this area, you would be directly handling cooked meat snacks into their final packages.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general equivalency degree preferred, but not required
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish
• Ability to be at work regularly and on time
• Stand on hard surfaces for 10 hours
• Sufficient written communication and reading skills
• Ability to operate or to quickly learn equipment
• Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to assess products for quality compliance
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position during the shift, using repetitive motion
• Must be able occasionally lift, push, pull and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds across the plant for various needs
• Spends time in cold environments
• Must have good hand/eye coordination

Responsibilities

• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Load and unload items from machines or conveyors
• Perform physically demanding work that requires good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and stamina
• Place individual packages into boxes for final packaging
• Use and move finished goods and materials with a pallet jack for further production packing or processing
• Strictly adhere to client specifications and ensure good quality work
