As a RTC Senior Manager, you will lead projects in federal research and development ("R&D") tax credits. A successful candidate will be prepared to assist the current leadership in expanding revenue by working with practice offices on existing clients and external opportunities. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for client and account management, as well as coordination and execution of project tasks Lead technical interviews with client personnel such as scientists and engineers Preparation, completion, review, and packaging of client deliverables, including technical studies, framework memorandums, audit responses, and reports Responsible for completion of Research Tax Credit calculation files, as well as evaluation and classification of qualified time and expenses Leads client site visit activities and evaluates client operations for potential credit opportunities Research case law and attends industry conferences to remain informed on the latest legislation and initiatives Management of technical and financial staff Supervisory responsibilities Will manage RTC engineers across assigned geographic territories Work environment Work is conducted in a professional office environment with minimal distractions Physical demands Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and performing work in front of a computer screen for long periods of time Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time Travel required Travel may be required to any offices or regions where the RTC team operates Required education and experience Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or product engineering design Strong command of engineering/design concepts, product development concepts and manufacturing concepts with engineering experience Minimum 8 years in a relevant RTC engineering role 5 years people management experience Other duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the colleague for this job.
