About The Position

Intertek is searching for an RT Level II Technician to join our Industry Services team. This is for a long-term, nested position at a client facility in the Bellingham, WA area. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Industry Services! Intertek's Asset Integrity Management team provides asset life management support to infrastructure, facilities, and equipment through the conception, design, construction, commissioning, operations, and decommissioning phases. Intertek provides specialists and engineering support in all areas of Asset Integrity Management, including design, process safety, mechanical integrity, inspection and maintenance, operational and process support, corrosion, metallurgy, and risk analysis to provide you with Total Quality Assurance.

Requirements

• Qualified and certified as an ASNT Level II in Radiographic examination (Code Quality).
• Minimum of 3+ years field experience.
• Hold a valid State card.
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
• TWIC Card.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a physical exam.
• A mindset of safety first.

Nice To Haves

• ASNT Level II certification in UT-Thickness; MT and/or PT.
• CR experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to organize and report test results and send information for data processing.
• Ability to solve technical issues in the field.
• Rope Access certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specific job requirements.
• Conduct Radiographic Testing Film Interpretation (RTfi) and evaluate radiographs against acceptance criteria.
• Set up and calibrate equipment and interpret results according to codes, standards, and specifications.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to assigned trainees and NDT Level I personnel.
• Organize and report results of assigned NDT.
• Maintain a client-focused attitude in all interactions.
• Pursue continuing technical education courses or seminars.
