RSQ Fire Protection is seeking a dedicated Project Estimator to join our team. As an industry leader in fire protection services for nearly 15 years, we pride ourselves on delivering quality solutions ranging from large contract projects to small service repairs. The Project Estimator will play a crucial role in preparing estimates and budgets for our clients, ensuring that all projects are code compliant and seamlessly transition from estimation to design. This position requires active involvement throughout the project life cycle, ensuring that all aspects of the project are managed effectively and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing preliminary hydraulic calculations and detailed estimates using our company’s standard programs. You will also prepare detailed scope letters and participate in project turnovers, taking a proactive role in negotiated work. Conducting site visits will be a part of your responsibilities, allowing you to gather necessary information to create accurate estimates. Continuous education through NICET training will be encouraged to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field. We are looking for someone who is comfortable engaging with all levels of leadership and possesses key attributes such as collaboration, integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will be organized, systematic, and a proactive problem solver with outstanding interpersonal skills.
