About The Position
Under general supervision, serves as a classroom teacher of exceptional students in grades K through 8 or a combination thereof; and as a member of the Individual Education Program Planning Team; participates in decisions regarding placement of exceptional students; creates a flexible program and environment favorable to learning and personal growth in accordance with each student's ability. Under the supervision of the school site administrator, provides an educational program for learning handicapped students.
