RRT 36 hr day/night rotating position
About The Position
Responsible for the planning, delivery and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice. Acts as a resource to staff in inpatient, ED and outpatient units. Manages individualized, outcome oriented nursing care through the use of the nursing process. Provides care, treatment and services through the successful coordination and completion of a series of processes that include assessment, planning care, providing care, in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- 2 years of medical/surgical experience
- 2 years of critical care experience for the clinical resource nurse
- RN - Registered Nurse
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- OB ERT - Emergency Response Training
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills.
- Rotating holidays and weekends.
- Weekend shifts are 7 AM - 7 PM, weekday M-F shifts are 3PM - 3 AM.
- ACLS (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
- OB- Emergency Response Training (ERT) - SSH Education & Training
- RN-Registered Nurse - Board of Registration in Nursing (Massachusetts)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- INSTRUCTOR- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
