About The Position

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at Southwestern Medical Center is responsible for delivering exceptional respiratory care services to patients in a collaborative and professional environment. The RRT will also engage in educational programs to maintain clinical competencies and assist in administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Licensure in the State of Oklahoma.
• Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (preferred).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients in various settings.
• Perform tasks as outlined in the Respiratory Care Department's Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Assist in assigned administrative tasks, both basic and advanced.
• Maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs.
• Provide advanced clinical expertise and education to departmental staff members.
