About The Position

As a Material Handler, also known as a Returnable Plastic Container (RPC) Sorter, you’ll get to hand sort a container weighing about 10 ounces that issued to ship produce, eggs, meat, and other goods onto pallets for manufacturers. This is a vital role for our sites to ensure we maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy of performance! Relogistics is part of the largest pallet management services company in North America! We provide end-to-end pallet solutions, from supply to retrieval, on-site services, reverse logistics, and packaging materials. We are truly Pallet Management Made Simple, our workforce is the heart and soul of our business, and we’re looking for our next RPC Sorter to join our team!

Requirements

• High school degree or GED required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills needed
• Ability to work overtime when needed

Responsibilities

• Hand stack RPC’s on pallets to appropriate height, following inventory control instructions
• Examine products for quality standards
• Ensure all trash and debris is removed prior to returning to customer
• Wrap sorted pallets and secure for shipment
• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the storage facility
• Accurately complete all paperwork to track daily progress
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly
