About The Position
Baker Tilly follows a five-step approach to managing our RPA projects. RPA Developer responsibilities, broken out by each phase, are as follows: Solution Design, Build RPA, Test RPA, Go Live, and Hypercare. In the Solution Design phase, the RPA Developer collaborates with the RPA Business Analyst to conduct and document business process reviews and assists in the creation of the Process Definition Document (PDD). They also work with the RPA Solution Architect to build the to-be process architecture, considering aspects such as UiPath Robotic Enterprise Framework, Orchestrator queues/assets, and error handling. In the Build RPA phase, the developer uses the PDD and architecture requirements to build automation in UiPath Studio, conducts unit and integration testing, and ensures that requirements are met. During the Test RPA phase, they collaborate with the RPA Business Analyst to create the Test Plan/Test Report and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the client. The Go Live phase involves transitioning automation packages from development to production and documenting the automation process in a 'Run Book'. Finally, in the Hypercare phase, the developer monitors automation performance and provides bug fixes for a period of approximately two to four weeks.
