About The Position

The RPA Lead is responsible for driving the design, development, and deployment of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to enhance business efficiency and reduce manual effort. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in RPA development and leadership roles.
  • Hands-on expertise with one or more RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, .NET, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of process mapping, workflow analysis, and automation design principles.
  • Experience with APIs, web services, and database integration in RPA solutions.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in RPA tools (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Developer, Blue Prism Developer).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices for RPA bot deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in AI/ML-driven automation or process mining tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the RPA development team, ensuring project goals are met within timelines and budgets.
  • Define the RPA strategy, roadmap, and governance model in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions using tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
  • Ensure that RPA solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise IT standards.
  • Oversee the development of reusable automation frameworks and libraries.
  • Work closely with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Engage with business units to validate process feasibility for automation and demonstrate solution viability.
  • Mentor and guide team members in RPA best practices, technical skills, and industry trends.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify skill development opportunities.
  • Ensure rigorous testing of RPA bots before deployment and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Monitor deployed bots, handle exceptions, and continuously optimize processes for enhanced performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in RPA production environments.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, IT policies, and organizational standards.
  • Implement robust error-handling and security measures in RPA workflows.
