About The Position

Senior Staff Engineer role will provide engineering support for UiPath Robotics Automations. Comerica's Robotics team supports over 60 existing automations and provides technical resources for new automations throughout the enterprise. The ideal candidate will provide subject matter expertise in UiPath RPA Software. The Robotics Automation Engineer will analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions while having a basic understanding of the business processes to be automated to increase efficiency. Successful candidates will exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; be a proactive problem solver and showcase strong analytical ability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering or in a Technology related field, OR equivalent through a combination of education and/or technology experience, OR 12 years of technology experience.
  • 6 years of experience identifying technical solutions for complex business problems.
  • 5 years of Technology experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience using UiPath software.
  • Subject matter expertise in the usage and functionality of UiPath RPA software.
  • Experience developing new RPA solutions using the UiPath Robotics Enterprise (RE) Framework.
  • Strong software development background and programming experience in .Net, VB/VBA and/or PowerShell.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages, such as HTML, JavaScript, etc.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • UiPath certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Define and document process automation requirements.
  • Estimate new process automations based on complexity.
  • Use UiPath software to create new automations from small to high complexity.
  • Formulate procedures and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Implement advanced business solutions.
  • Work closely with business units, application teams, infrastructure areas and vendors to identify, review and evaluate the solution requirements.
  • Investigate and propose strategic fits for virtualization, consolidation and rationalization solution opportunities.
  • Propose changes to the technical design solutions as applicable.
  • Evaluate and align strategic fit solutions across platforms and solutions specific to system hardware and software technologies.
  • Provide client consulting and planning guidance for moderate to complex projects.
  • Participate in and provide consulting to project teams on architectural, design development, integration opportunities.
  • Map requirements into standard services solution, identify opportunities for integrating to existing or reuse technology.
  • Review, identify and manage requirements for moderate to complex solutions and conduct cost value, feasibility and risk analysis.
  • Review, participate, develop and update architectural standards, guiding principles, rationales and strategies.
  • Keep management informed of status of activities through accurate, timely, and appropriate reporting.
