About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled RPA Developer Subject Matter Expert (SME I) to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade automation solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in RPA platforms, strong architecture skills, and the ability to drive automation strategy while mentoring development teams.

Requirements

Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable contractor fitness determination.
3-5 years of experience in RPA development, with at least 2+ years in a lead or SME role
Hands-on expertise with one or more RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
Experience with API integrations, databases (SQL), and enterprise application automation
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Experience implementing exception handling, logging frameworks, and reusable components
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Experience with AI/ML-enabled automation.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with process mining tools (e.g., Celonis, UiPath Process Mining)
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and RPA orchestration in cloud environments
Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps)

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable RPA solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism
Act as the technical authority for RPA initiatives, defining best practices, standards, and reusable frameworks
Analyze complex business processes and translate them into efficient automation workflows
Integrate RPA solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and web services (REST/SOAP)
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and IT teams to ensure end-to-end solution alignment
Establish and enforce RPA governance, security standards, and development best practices
