About The Position

Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) is a family of distinctive brands, including The Langham Hotels and Resorts, Cordis Hotels and Resorts, Eaton Workshop and Ying’nFlo. The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, Los Angeles is located in Pasadena, California, in an upscale residential neighborhood. The Royce Restaurant Manager will assist in the effective management and direction of the Royce restaurant operations, focusing on quality service, supervision of colleagues, staff productivity, food production quality, cost control, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
• One or more years’ experience as a Food & Beverage or Restaurant manager.
• 2-3 years’ experience supervising others.
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and preparation techniques.
• Excellent mathematical abilities for inventory and revenue tracking.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification and/or First Aid training preferred.
• Food Handler’s Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Plans the functions of the Restaurant to meet the daily needs of the operation.
• Manages and supervises food servers, server attendants, and other staff regarding schedules, service standards, training, motivation, and safety.
• Represents Royce FOH & BOH Productivity & Cost planning and accountability of staff.
• Ensures restaurant complies with sanitation and safety standards for guests and employees.
• Visually inspects and takes action to ensure that facilities in the restaurant look appealing and attractive to guests.
• Monitors product quality and guest satisfaction in the restaurant.
• Documents inventory forecast usage and monitors supply to ensure the restaurant is stocked appropriately.
• Participates in marketing efforts of restaurants, menu planning, and preparation of special events.

Benefits

• Salary range: $90,000 - $95,000 annually.
